One of my greatest pleasures in my day-to-day business is talking to other โThought Leadersโ, but I sometimes get the sense that they donโt always think of themselves that way.
A while back, I ran a survey, and everyone who responded saw themselves as a Thought Leader, but when I did the research, the truth seemed a little different.
How can you be a Thought Leader if nobody hears you?
What do I mean by thatโฆ
Well, it is not just the literal; it is also going deeper and letting people see you beyond any carefully curated messages surrounding a person. Those lines have been edited over the years to trot what you think you should be saying and, to a degree, hide behind the norm created by others.
To be seen, you need to reveal yourself.
Itโs not easy to do that on your own.

These are the three areas of support Thought Leaders need:
1๏ธโฃ Someone to coach them so they consistently realise their potential and set new goals
2๏ธโฃ A platform from which to be heard by an audience beyond their own group/work/network
3๏ธโฃ Someone to draw their stories, thoughts and resulting expertise to the surface
